CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE LIMA

International Curriculum Primary

The international curriculum offered by Cambridge College Lima is a programme of study designed by the University of Cambridge of England not only for pupils with first language English but also for pupils whose mother tongue is not English but who have the possibility of developing a high degree of skill in the language.

The programme is divided in four parts:

o Cambridge Primary;

o Cambridge Secondary 1;

o Cambridge Secondary 2;

o Cambridge Advanced.

From First Grade, the English, Maths and Science programmes are taught through the medium of English, according to the Cambridge Primary curriculum.

The University of Cambridge not only determines the programme of study for each grade but also provides diagnostic evaluations that the teachers apply on completing every stage.

On finishing Primary,every student is evaluated externally in the three subjects, Primary Checkpoint, in order to determine progress.

From Third Grade of Primary, Geography and History, though not part of the Cambridge Primary programme, are also taught through the medium of English which helps in the acquisition of the language.
