Learn More About the IB Diploma Programme
The Benefits of the IBDP VS the National Diploma
Although both options are strong, the IBDP offers several distinct advantages over the school’s national curriculum pathway for the final two years of study.
These include:
- A broader and more challenging curriculum, fostering students' holistic development and life skills. The core IBDP elements encourage students to go beyond the classroom, prepare for university-level essay writing, and explore CAS activities, which are exclusive to the IBDP.
- The programme nurtures an international mindset, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a globalised world.
- Students develop effective study habits, time management, and the ability to handle demanding workloads, ensuring they are prepared to excel in competitive university environments in Peru and abroad.
- The IBDP encourages students to become proactive, independent learners through inquiry-based strategies, fostering critical thinking and self-motivation, key skills for success in higher education and future careers.
